Overview Information

The British Society for Gynaecological Imaging (BSGI) invites you to its 10th Anniversary Scientific Meeting.  Information including detailed presentation information will be made available to BSGI members in the membership section of this website in due course.

The Society has established itself over the past 10 years as the focus for all practitioners working in the field of obstetric and gynaecological imaging. The meeting includes the latest updates by experts in the field, oral, poster and video communications, and sessions dedicated to training, imaging in gynaecology and hot topics in the field. The meeting presents delegates with an opportunity to expand their knowledge of recent developments in imaging and for trainees and researchers to present their results at this meeting.

The meeting is beneficial for all practitioners taking part in continued professional development programmes and gives ample time for discussion, debate and networking. It also gives you the opportunity to fulfil the requirements for GMC revalidation. Trainees will also be able to consolidated their skills and subject to satisfactory completion of skills/tasks, OSATS and log book signatures could be obtained for the USS modules

Papers at the ASM

If you have undertaken an ultrasound related audit or research project, or have an interesting case or video to present, the Society welcomes your contribution to Annual Scientific Meeting

  • Categories include: oral, poster or video presentations
  • Excellent opportunity to improve your presentation skills
  • The Society awards prizes for the best presentation in each category

A completed application form together with the abstract(s) must be submitted by the deadline by e-mail to All abstracts will be considered for an oral presentation in the first instance, scored anonymously and applicants will be notified of the outcome.
