Physicists
Welcome to the Medical Physicists' section
Medical Physicists are involved in the application of physics and science to medicine. Medical physicists have a role to play in gynaecological imaging, most commonly in quality assurance of medical imaging systems and teaching and training. However, medical physicists are sometimes involved in the delivery of diagnostic imaging, most notably ultrasound imaging. As a member of BSGI, you will have the opportunity to meet with other health care professionals, discuss and influence the development of gynaecological imaging in the UK. In addition, membership of BSGI can be used towards fulfilling your CPD requirements.
I sincerely hope that you will join the Society and contribute to its further growth and development.
